Audience Feedback on Poster.

The title is simplistic and you can see straight away what the film is called, I think that both the name of the film on the poster and the magazine show a link between the two as they are in the same font. I dont think that I would change anything as it is not cluttered, it is simple and effective.

I like the fact the poster has a bit of mystery about it, it makes me want to watch the film and find out whats behind the poster. I think there is a link between the front cover of the magazine and the poster because the poster is an advertisement for the film and then the magazine expands on the poster. Personally I dont think the poster needs to be improved, I like it as it is.

I like the how you can't the see the face of the actor, it therefore intrigues you to watch it. The poster is dark and curious which also correlates with the title of the film, "Withheld". It allows the audience to imagine what is causing 'them' to be "Withheld". The film's tagline is also very expressive of the title and is captivating and memorable, which as a result, sticks with the audience. I also like how the poster informs you of when the film will be released. There is a strong link between the front cover and poster as the theme of dark and bold is carried throughout both. The bold blue writing used for the subheadings is a similar colour as the night sky in the picture which also displays the link between the two.
As part of the audience viewing both the front cover and poster, I would modify the font of the title on the poster to the same one used for the title of the film on the magazine.

It’s really simple and this makes it easy on the eye and means that you don’t have to really concentrate to understand the poster. This means that looking at quick glance this poster is interesting and intriguing. I like how the tag line is separated and how they still follow on. The name withheld is also exciting because it makes you wonder what the film is about. This links well with the magazine front cover as the synergy with the same font for the title and also the same actor is on the poster and front cover. I would have the actors face on the poster as you can’t recognise who it is because his back is turned.
